I love the simplicity of the keyboard part, and the way it all drops out briefly at the end of the chorus.

Here are three brand new songs by riot prog act The Bell Riots. I believe these are their first recordings with The Cocker Spaniels' Sean Padilla on bass!

There's a new trailer for the Spider-Man reboot. Once again, everybody close to him seems to know who he is and he takes his mask off all the time, kinda making the whole 'secret identity' thing take a back seat to showing off the actor's face.

I dig this new Madonna video. M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj look fantastic, and Madonna looks pretty great herself. I like the song too.

A couple of months ago our friends Maggie and Brad at Skinny's Ballroom asked to help Skinny's get involved in the Free Week festitivies here in town.

We put together a show for tomorrow night, Friday January 6, with three of Austin's coolest young bands.

First up is The Scarlet Effect, who have a high-energy Jefferson Airplane thing going on. They play at 9pm.

World Racketeering Squad is next at 10pm.

At 11pm is Schmillion, who have been making a name for themselves and will be a featured act in this year's SXSW.

Kay Leotard closes out the night at 12am with their psychedelic rock sound.

Attendance is FREE, the show is at Skinny's Ballroom at 1st and San Jacinto.

We will be retiring most of our older songs with our next two shows. If you are a fan of WRS songs like "Electromagnetic Pulse" or "You are the dream", this could be your last chance to hear them!

We have a brand new batch of songs that will be on our new album this year and we're ready to start playing them live. So come out and bid farewell to your old favorites!
